]]> On Thursday 24 October between 10am and 3pm, a trio of Filey festivals will be holding a fundraising tea, cakes and tombola event at the Evron Centre. The Filey Folk Festival, Steampunk Festival and Literature Festival are coming together to publicise their events and raise some much-needed cash.

There will be a Victorian-style tea, complete with cakes and china cutlery. There will also be a tombola with lots of exciting prizes. They include vouchers from the Banks Lounge Bar, The Cobblers Arms and afternoon tea at the Lighthouse Cafe. Councillor John Casey has kindly offered to run the tombola.

Tickets for the appearance of Ian McMillan at Filey Literature Festival will also be on sale for the first time. The Bard of Barnsley will be appearing at the Evron Centre on Friday 22 May 2020. Tickets are priced at £12 for what will be one of the most anticipated events of the Literature Festival.
