They have been playing flat green bowls at Filey Southdene Bowling Club since 1881. It is a thriving club, with fixtures throughout the season between July and September. New members are always sought, but visitors are welcome to play for only £3. The club has bowls and flat shoes available for visitors.

There is usually someone on the green during summer afternoons, alternatively the club secretary can be contacted for further information.
