The Filey Bistro and Coffee Bar is, as its name suggests, a little more than a standard cafe. It does, of course, offer the usual run of teas, coffees and cakes, but it also serves up Sunday lunches and through the week a range of diverse specials, from seafood platters to curries!

Our favourite aspect of there bistro is its outdoor area. A hidden surprise, as it is not obvious from the street, or indeed when you first step through the door, but out back is a sun trap courtyard, full of blooming flowers in the summer. Highly recommended.
