There’s a children’s pirate party at Filey Library at 6pm on Friday 22 May. It is part of the inaugural Filey Literature Festival and features Captain Tom Mason and Fiddlin’ Sage O’Silver.

American pirates! Doubtless frolicking among the adult fiction section. We jest shipmates, this is family fun for all ages. Prizes for best dressed pirates, with separate categories for adults and children. We don’t think Filey Library has ever seen anything like this.
