Memories of Filey in World War Two
The Friends of Filey Museum’s annual talk is entitled ‘Memories of Filey During World War Two’. The speaker is Michael Fearon, the chairman of the museum and Filey’s premier historian. Michael grew up in Filey during the conflict, so the talk will undoubtedly be a fascinating one.
The talk is taking place at 7pm on Thursday 17th October in the Filey Methodist Church Hall on Union Street. Admission is free. A raffle to raise money for the museum will take place and refreshments will be on sale.
Annual membership of the Friends of Filey Museum costs only £3 and allows year long admission to the fascinating museum.
