A Fabulous Filey Competition
There are competitions, and then there are competitions, and boy have we bagged three stellar prizes for this one!
The first prize is dinner, bed and breakfast for two at the White Lodge Hotel on their opening night of Saturday 4 July. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the start of the summer season!
The second prize is a round of golf for two at Filey Golf Club. The picturesque course overlooks Filey Bay, the perfect setting for a memorable round of golf.
Third prize is a bottle of Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin, Lavender Edition. Award winning gin from the Yorkshire Dales.

I would love to win this, my hubby introduced me to Filey 34 years ago, his family come from Filey, I fell in love instantly, I’ve always wanted to stay at the white lodge, would be a real treat

My husband and i would lOve to get back to filey. Its ouR go tO for days out and hoLidays. We have been been working hard both in school and from home and its the thought of getting back to filey that kept us going.
Loved Filey since I first visited in 1954.been every year since to stay and day trips. Cannot beat the little cabins on the Cobble Landing.
I WOULD LOVE TO WIN THIS AND GIVE TO MY WONDERFUL SISTER AND HUSBAND. aS A FAMILY WE HAVE BEEN VISITING FILEY FOR OVER 70 YEARS. MY LOVELY SISTER HAS OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS HAD TO DEAL WITH MORE ADVERSITY THAN ANYONE COULD IMAGINE. HER dAUGHTER DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER TWO YEARS AGO, HUSBAND LEFT THE FAMILY HOME SHORTLY AFTER, LEAVING A SERIOUSLY ILL WIFE WITH TWO YOUNG CHILDREN. THIS HAS AFFECTED MY SISTER REALLY BADLY WITH PTSD AND CHRONIC ARTHRITIS. bROTHER IN LAW DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER JANUARY THIS YEAR. tHEY HAVE HAD SUCH A TRAUMATIC TIME WHICH THEY HAVE MET WITH DIGNITY AND GRACE. I REALLY HOPE I CAN WIN THIS FOR THEM SO THEY CAN HAVE A LOVELY BREAK IN FILEY – WHICH IS VERY CLOSE TO THEIR HEARS.
IT would be lovely to win a prize, but its just great see the white lodge opening the doors again.
