Weather, weather, weather!

The question in Filey is “whether” you should even bother to take any notice of the weather forecast. Why, you ask? Filey has its own micro-climate and whilst the friendly moustacheod weatherman on Look North or the clever app on your new iPhone 7, might indicate a light cloud or a touch of inclemency, the best idea is to pick up the phone and ring someone who is actually in Filey. Or, if looking at the forecast, ignore it. The chances are you’ll be basking in the sun, whilst the poor schmucks in nearby Bridlington or Scarborough are licking their wounds playing Space Invaders under the shelter of a seedy amusement arcade.
